Wythe Guide: Coffees and Cafes

North Williamsburg rewards the early riser and the afternoon wanderer alike. What was once a landscape of corner bodegas and industrial holdovers has slowly filled in with coffee counters and bakeries that take their pastry programs very seriously.

Some are destinations unto themselves, drawing regulars who make the trip specifically for a particular croissant or a single-origin pour-over. Others feel more like neighborhood institutions, places where you might overhear a conversation between longtime friends or residents. Whether you're easing into the morning before a walk along the waterfront or looking for somewhere to land between meetings, these are the spots worth knowing.

Read on for our guide to neighborhood cafes.
